I have taken Dexedrine on three different occasions because I fall asleep all the time. The breaks between each period where because I was being sent the stuff from Canada and my flow kept on being disrupted by party time at the local customs office.
On the first occasion, 20 mg really did the trick if I stayed away from citrus and coffee etc.

On the second occasion, 20 mg was less effective, and I had to really watch my stomach ph or I wouldn't absorb the stuff at all.

On the third occasion, 30 mg was required if was to feel anything. Any kind of food whatsoever made the stuff useless, and my tolerance skyrocketed after about two days of use. I'd have to wait a week, it would sort of work for a couple of days again and then - poof.
Now I can't get that stuff anymore. Adderal is illegal in Canada now, and, well, they're all illegal where I live anyway (mind you, pDocs will give me scripts for lots of useless crap if I want; they seem to find it fun).
