klonopin- how long does it last?

i'm still trying to figure out how long klonopin is supposed to last. from the time i take it, it's usually kicked in w/in 15 minutes. how long should i expect it to last.

i know when it's completely gone, because i get really angry.
currently i'm dosing twice a day; once in morning and once in the afternoon. but i can take up to three a day per doc's orders.
i get really agitated at night. is that an indication that i should take one at bedtime, too?
