Hi Meri,
I'm so glad that things are going well for you on Reboxetine! Unfortunately, I think a lot of people who've tried it, especially those in the U.S. who've ordered it from overseas, probably started at too high a dose and escalated too quickly. A few years ago I tried it, and I started at too high a dose, so I had lots of insomnia and other side effects; however, I did notice that it seemed to kick in MUCH faster than most other AD's I've tried over the years. My mood improved within a couple of days of starting it. I wish I'd taken a lower dose and just stayed on the lower dose. I might try it again in a few months. I think it's a much better antidepressant than Strattera, although both are norepinephrine reputake inhibitors and have some similar side effects. It's a shame that Reboxetine hasn't been approved for use in the U.S.
How late in the day do you take your second Reboxetine dose?
As Tom mentioned, Celexa (citalopram) is available as a liquid. Perhaps your doctor can rx that for you so you can taper in minute increments more easily.
