Celexa to Lex -feeling more depressed anxious

I just switched a week ago from 10mg Celexa to 5mg of Lexapro. After about 3 days I started to feel more anxious. Now I feel more anxious and more depressed as well.
Is it just the Celexa wearing off before the Lex kicks in? Is the increased anxiety just from starting the Lex? I was already anxious on the Celexa - the pdoc thought the Lexapro would help the anxiety more than the Celexa.
Is a week just too short a time to tell? Should I stick it out and just take extra Klonopin in the meantime? How long should I give the Lexapro before throwing in the towel?
I feel so bad right now. Depressed mood with an undercurrent of anxiety. Sad and blue. Discouraged. Want to quit all meds and give up.
