Doc diasagreements on meds?

I weight 64kgs and have been on Ritalin for 1.5 years since which the dose has increased from 10mgs 2x daily to 70mgs daily. A Doc at the same pratice gave me 20mgs 4x daily last month, which worked better, but my Doc stood by the 1mg kg of BW.
