It's your body's way of saying you can't handle how the rather intense dilation of blood vessels is affecting your body's internals in general, including your GI tract.

Or there's Ritalin, also milder than Adderall.Utopizen, I detect a hint of a critical vibe from your response. I think maybe you have some unconscious or hidden assumptions about those of us who are using amphetamines, which is fine--but please be aware that there are many, many things about the people on the board that you do not know...Try to assume that the people on the board are doing the best they can (for example, exclaiming "jeez!" doesn't help me feel any better about the 15mg I need to take to notice anything at all. For three days I took 10mg and noticed NOTHING.
If I MUST justify why I chose amphetamines over Strattera, I couldn't wait the six weeks for Strattera because I am in a PhD program and have my qualifying examinations coming up. The ADD I have always had got so bad within the last year that I finally broke down and saw my pdoc for it. I suffered with ADD for 35 years without drugs, and finally realized I could use the help. She suggested Adderall because i explained that I needed to see quick improvement or get kicked out of school. When I posted I had just started the Adderall, and it seems to have calmed down. Happy to report, though, that things are back to normal...and my boyfriend is happy that I still have the increased drive and no longer have the difficulty with the big O. I don't think taking the Adderall and having a harder time with orgasm is all that uncommon either--lots of people seem to report that when they take amphetamines recreationally, so it was probably just an adjustment for my individual body.
Cheers!
