You can also skip meds for a couple of days, plan sex for this time off and then go back on. A lot of people have found that a brief drug holiday allows them to have some semblance of a sex life without having a negative effect on their depression.

I am pretty new to these boards, so I hope you don't mind my chiming in...I take Lexapro 20mg per day now, and at first i had problems, but started taking Wellbutrin to help, and it helps a good bit (I take 75 mg/day Wellbutrin and 20mg/day Lexapro). Also, I take the Lexapro right before I go to sleep at night, so that by bedtime (the time I am most likely to be having sex), the blood concentrations are at their lowest, since Lexapro is one of the shorter-acting SSRIs.
Warning: the next sentence may be too graphic...Also, I find that some days, only extra help from a vibrator will help me have an orgasm. I don't know why, but my boyfriend was grateful to have the help anyway.
Cheers,
liz
