Is there a possibility that Bipolar is

connected with yeast/candida?

I was thinking about this and I have a family history of severe bipolar. My grandmother was bipolar (paternal) as is my dad.

My grandmother suffered with yeast infections as far back as I recall, and my dad does as well. We are about the only adults I've ever known to get thrush in adulthood.

I'm still not sold that I am bipolar (and if I am, it must be a milder version of what my family has), but I also have this yeast problem.

I've read a few things about some doctor's who believe bipolar is actually a yeast problem. Any thoughts?

I know since I've been taking anti fungals and cutting waaay back on sugar, I've been feeling better mentally.
