Fear center found in brain?

University of Toronto researcher Min Zhuo believes he has found the source of your fears - the anterior cingulate cortex (ACC). By manipulating the neurochemicals that activate it, Zhuo believes, we may one day be able to ease fearful memories — anxiety and phobias, even post-traumatic stress — out of our lives. Joseph Hall reports.

Google "Toronto Star" it's a Canadian newspaper. This story appeared on the front page on Sept.16. You have to give your email address to them before they'll allow you to read the full story. (It's really interesting as far as drug development for fear/anxiety/PTSD goes)
