I'd love to try it! I'm on Parnate, one of the worst meds for insomnia, and find 20mg Ambien to be the best sleep aid. I told my psychiatrist about the CR version last week (we joke that if I stop seeing her, she'll no longer have the latest drug/technology info!) and she said it was odd because Ambien has a half-life that shouldn't lead to more wakefulness during the night (any of you chemistry geniuses feel free to disagree!). However, I'd like to try it because I DO have nights where I sleep 2-3 hours and then wake up for the rest of the night. I'll see her tomorrow and try to get an Rx since I now know it's available. If I get it, I'll post with results asap. Thanks for the info, Ed. Take care, Lauren.
