I'm on Nardil for 2nd time- 75mg/day for SP.
Went to a new job tonight after being outa work for 3 months. Pdoc gave me 3 x 2mg valium for nerves - I took the lot. Anyway got outside the gate and the panic hit me. I paced around for a good 1/2 hour and then got back on the train and strait home. WHAT A COMPLETE FAILURE!
This isn't the Nardil I remember! I used to be able to at least 'push' myself into doing things, and I NEVER had ANY kind of anxiety attack on it before.
Could it possibly be the valium that caused the added Panic? And if so HOW, when its meant to be anxiotytic?Earlier in the day I suggested to my (UK!) pdoc to augment my Nardil. He listened to my suggestions and 'lit up' when I mentioned low dose anti-psychotic. He said Risperidone. Apparently its a good augmentor of SSRIs but he'll check if it can be taken with Nardil.
So I may still be in with a chance of some relief, but it better come soon 'cause I'm desperately loosing all hope.
