I have always had a mild depression, at times more than just mild. My depression mostly like just not ever having fun, not wanting or feeling like doing the things that used to be fun. To feel bad about things. I have noticed that since taking Lyrica, though it's only been a short time, that I have more energy and my mood is elevated. My primary condition is generalized and social anxiety. The Klonopin helped the anxiety to a certain extent, but I felt that it brought my mood and depressed state down. So I'm hopeful (and my doc thinks)the Lyrica could work great for both. He also says my sleep should improve. Though I'm doing better, I'm withdrawing from the Klonopin as I am dropping my dose at an extreamly fast pase. I'm hopeful this is the answer. I see my doc tomorrow. If this doesn't work, I'm holding out for EMSAM, the MAOI patch that should be coming out in 6 months or so.....
