hey! OK, seroquel is **the** official atypical antipsychotic for sleep and sedation. You might do well to switch to something that isn't sedating..abilify or geodon are non-sedating and pretty well tolerated. Abilify in particular seems to be good stuff. Also, how is your seroquel dosed? If you're doing it 2X a day, you might want to try taking most of it at night for a while...when it gets to be a bit less sedating, you could try spreading it out over the day. As for antidepressants...it really depends on what goes along with your depression. If you're dealing with fatigue and lethargy, Prozac and/or Wellbutrin could be good. If you stil have some anxiety, maybe Zoloft. If the seroquel is mostly for anxiety, maybe your doc could cut the seroquel and up the klonopin? Or do Klonopin as the main med and Seroquel as-needed for intense anxiety? Seroquel can also cause weight gain and metabolic problems, so its worth checking out other treatments, unless you're taking it for psychosis. Symbyax might be good...a 6/25 or 6/50 (6 zyprexa, 25-50 prozac) dose could probably help a lot with anxiety, depression, and overall mood stability. But..weight gain would still be a problem; taking Metformin along with the symbyax might help prevent this, as could using amantidine along with it. Good luck!
