Hello,
I am currrently on 1x300mg Wellbutrin XL in the morning. I did some research and read that taking Wellbutrin will inhibit the reuptake (not use) of Serotonin.
I am going through a slight IMpotence phase right now (27, male, nonsmoker) and think this might be the cause?
Can someone please look at this link and then let me know if I should be taking 5-HTP, which actually increases serotonin, which helps with reduced stress, anxiety, which can lead to not being IMpotent.
I do have stress, anxiet, some depression.
I am on Wellbutrin, Clonazepam, Buspirone.
I take Herb Pharm Male Sexual Vitality Tonic, which consists of (chinese ginsing root, jamaican sarsaparilla root, saw palmetto berry, oak "milky" seed, Cardamon pod and seed). I also take (magnesium, zinc, ginko biloba, b6) which all help with blood flow or other relations to impotence and have helped SOME
but I would like to know if the Wellbutrin is the cause of this, even though it has no sexual side effects, it might affect serotonin?
