hey! Yeah, I hear ya on the SSRI-apathy...zoloft made me feel better, but I felt so odd...strangely apathetic, with a plastered-on smile. SSRIs are the "Stepford Wives" medications of today. Anyway, Tofranil helped me a lot, with much less apathy (on the downside, Tofranil actually made me *angrier* which sucked). With Prozac, I think the big problem would be Prozac's amazingly long (5 week) half-life...since Anafranil is so strong, the cross-taper would have to be done carefully to aviod serotonin syndrome, especially since you're also taking a good bit of ritalin. Have you considered adding another AD to the prozac for the apathy, instead of a straight up switch? Wellbutrin+Prozac is pretty popular; I imagine you could also start tapering down on the Prozac while you add the Wellbutrin, so you could do a switch over to Anafranil+Wellbutrin or just Anafranil more easily.
