You could always cut a pill and take just one half or one quarter of it. I've been taking zyprexa for over 5 years and never had to go higher than 5mg. 10mg seems kind of high to start with.

It can help with some of the symptoms, such as anxiety and insomnia and appetite. Possibly mood too. It does partially block dopamine receptors, but it also increases dopamine and serotonin levels. Personally, I would start at 2.5mg.
