Clonazepam+excercise=nausea?

Posted by superman on November 6, 2005, at 22:36:15

Got incredibly nauseus today. Excercise usually energizes and makes me feel GOOD.

I'm noticing a trend; whenever i take any kind anti-anxiety med (or effexor) I am unable exercise (otherwise I get the worst naseau which is accompanied by violent bouts of vomiting) Ah!.

I love my clonazepam (i'll add another post describing an experience characterisitic of what it does for me).

But I NEED my excercise (enjoyment of sports and outdoors, numerous benifits of lifting weights, and so on). It is one of the best things for my mood AND anxiety (espec. Social).

I'd like to take clonazepam on a regular basis, but it doesnt seem possible to so while continuing to take part in any physical activity.

Any suggestions? Should I just stick to taking as needed and time so it doesnt interfere with any excercise? Are there any anti-anxieties that won't do this? Can I take gravol (drammamine) to prevent the nausea? Will the nausea go away after being on it for a while.

(note: the nausea ONLY exists with excercise, and the excercise is usually rather intense. Otherwise almost no side effects).

Also, how often can I take clonzepam as needed without getting any withdrawl symptoms (general average if anyone knows)?

Ah!

Sorry for the long post, and thanks in advance for any comments.

Ty
