I didn't mean to imply that your reactions aren't valid, or that you shouldn't post them. As one of the other posters said, this is such a new treatment, and there's so much that isn't yet known- so everyone's reactions are very important- and helpful to others.
There is one thing which is worrying me about the right-sided TMS. In major depression, oner's left frontal cortex becomes underactive, while the right hemisphere, considered generally to be where one has recorded one's unconscious memories and traumas, continues as the more active hemisphere. While the TMS does lower stress hormones, temporarily, it has a stimulating effect on the cortex, which might not be desirable if applied to the hemisphere which is causing us to feel so much pain. But I just don't know! There is very little about right-sided TMS in the literature that I have been able to find.
