I agree that WB isn't the best choice for trauma, for the reasons cited, but taking Cymbalta every other day is likely to be a nightmare for you -- Cymbalta has a short half-life, so you're likely to experience some withdrawal effects if you're taking it every other day. I'm on a lowish dose now, 40mg, and on the day after forgetting to take my dose, I was already starting to experience some nasty withdrawal effects. Every other day is fine for a drug with a longer half-life, like Prozac, but not for the shorter acting drugs like Cymbalta or Effexor.

I forget your dosages, but how about lowering the WB a good deal, which shouldn't have much in the way of withdrawal effects, and continuing the Cymbalta daily? I know you're suffering, but I'd hate to see you enter into the sort of nightmare zone that I think I'd experience if I were to try taking Cymbalta every other day.

Good luck.
