About 10 years ago I took 2.5mg/d selegeline for ages and, in retrospect, I can see that it made sleep less deep. Then even 1mg/d liquid deprenyl did the same. I now take some mucana in the morning instead and sleep is deeper.
I wonder if less good deep sleep at night leads you to have daytime tiredness?? Could it just be that, do you think?
I have never noticed an immediate effect from deprenyl or selegeline. Somewhere I read about patients being treated for depression with selegeline waking up in the early morning, but that would have been on AD doses, and from the l-amphetamine metabolite.
