RN's usually call in the meds for the doctors and they call in controlled meds too. Ritalin or one of those may be different though never called a stimulant in to the Rx. But have called benzos, sleeping pills, antipsychotic, antidepressants, etc. The docs use the Nurses to save time. Fondly, Phillipa
