I'm going to start weaning off Marplan soon, after 3 months on it. I have to go off it as I'm going to have surgery, but there's no point in going back on it afterwards as there were no benefits. Other than that you stop dreaming, which was good for me, as I normally have unpleasant dreams, except that instead of dreaming you wake up multiple times a night, and often after 4 hours or so you're up for good, that's it, no matter how exhausted you are. (Better than Parnate that way, though, the week I lasted on Parnate I never got more than 90 minutes sleep a night.) Watch your blood pressure on Marplan, it dramatically lowers it. Cecilia
