i dont know where you live but here (the us) triazaolam is **rarely** used; its too problematic (withdrawal, psychotic reactions, etc.) and seems to have been pretty much replaced by temazepam and the "z" hypnotics (ambien and sonata). If you're going the old-school route, flurazepam would be better; even better, possibly, would be diazepam, since it lasts so long..its easier to taper than other benzos, and its lasts a long time, so a PM dose can help with day-time anxiety.
