> I'm on 300 mg of zoloft and 45 mg of remeron. I'm wondering if this is enough remeron to block the stimulation of the 5-ht2 and 5-ht3 receptors. It seems like it is working. If I was on just 15 mg of remeron the stimulation of the 5-ht receptors by zoloft would overweigh the antagonism of the 5-ht receptors by remeron. DOes anyone else take remeron with an ssri and what doses of each do you take?

I took Remeron with Paxil for about 3 very good years. I need high doses, therefore my remeron was at a whopping 90mgs, Paxil was high also like
70-80 mgs. The combo worked very well for me. Paxil alone was ok, adding the remeron really
made a huge difference. Good Luck..i think 45 rem. is high enough to block 5-ht2 & 5-ht3, it's sounds like it's working for you. :)
