I've taken restoril and it made me sleep a night or two. Ambien doesn't do anything for me. Strangely the thing that makes me sleep most is xanax xr. The regular kind doesn't do that to me at all.
I wake up with panic attacks too...not fun at all.
I read a zonky new age book that said to make friends with your anxiety/fear and welcome it. so I say welcome back my old friend panic and trace the outlines of the physical sensations in my body, the big cold dread and the hollow limbs etc and I guess it does become familiar and desensitizes me and there's always a nice soft xanax under the tongue...I leave them in a humid place and soften them up for times like this to feed to my "friend"
You're taking a lot more xanax than I am but I never increased or became dependent but I decided not to take them every day because I was afraid i would.
