This site can be helpful but I also think there is a danger of obsessing big time and getting upset by not so scientific input. I admit yes I was upset and that's why I responded as I have but I do feel it needed to be said.
I'm with link and some of the others who suffered from SSRI's and I'm not anti psychiatriatry either, I still see my pdoc but people aren't obsessing here, they are just expressing what happened to them personally from taking these drugs and the terrible effects that they had on them. More medical research needs to be done and made available to the public so people can make more a more informed opinion before they head down the AD path. It's not a bed of roses for everyone and some people need to know that this could quite possibly happen to them too. There is always risks involved with psychiatric drugs and not always good ones with long lasting nasty side effects that the general public should be aware of. I feel that just needed to be said too, there is always 2 sides to every story, Paul
