Buy a blood pressure machine from your Pharmacy that measures at the arm and take your blood pressure at different times during the day. Record those and give to your doctor.
Cymbalta and other meds make my blood pressure spike usually only in the afternoon and at stressful times. Doesn't happen off those meds. My doc started me on medication as conservative measures did not help.
NSAIDs (nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs) like Motrin and Celebrex also made my BP spike dangerously high and I never felt any different. It sneaks up on you, so check your BP if you take those also.

> I have High BP anyway and take meds. But it hit 186/106 today with a pulse of 116. It's down some since I'm resting. But I feel although these meds are working they are not agreeing with me. Something made me gain belly fat.any input?
