Akathisia is a feeling of restlessness that feels like you're going to jump out of your skin. It helps to move around, but shaking your leg without the accomanying feeling would not necessarily be related. My husband does that as a sort of nervous habit. If you've felt akathisia, you'd know it. It's really unpleasant. You can't sit still or sleep because you feel so restless.

> I'd like to know how is the feeling of provigil added on Nardil ..I don't have a lot of overt symptoms of anxiety, although I do tend to be a little excessive with worry. But my primary issue is atypical depression. Provigil hasn't had any adverse effects so far, except maybe a bit of nausea in the a.m. It hasn't increased anxiety or decreased it. I take it to help with ADHD inattentiveness. It's helping a bit with that, along with helping curb the carb cravings associated with Nardil. I'm not all jumping up and down about it, though. Jury's still out on if it's worth it.
Take care,
