SCOTT, Questions about high dose Parnate

Posted by Crazy Horse on April 17, 2006, at 9:31:05

Hi Scott,
I am currently on 150 mgs. of Parnate, mostly due to the fact that the lower doses evenually weren't working as well. I've always needed high dose everything, since aquiring this lovely illness.

I've read some of your posts from the past advocating the benefits of high dose parnate, so if you feel well enough today could you please answer some of the questions below?

1. What are the advantages of high dose parnate vs. 60-80 mgs? What happens chemically when the dose is higher...i.e., 100 mgs or more?

2. Is 150 mgs about the max? Are there any advantages of going higher than this? I know it probably depends on the individual. By advantages i mean less afternoon fatigue, better more consistant mood, less problems with insomnia.

3. Do you have and articles/studies i could read concerning the advantages of high dose parnate.

Thank you Scott. I hope you are having a good day. :)
