Scientific literature suggests that seroquel is better for depression. But as I found out, and others here also, is that seroquel was very depressing for me. I've tried it several times. Depression was dramatically worse beginning in 24 hours. Zyprexa I find much better, though I must admit that by itself it is not enough and can also be depressing. Zyprexa, or any antipsychotic for that matter, I think needs an antidepressant along with it for the synergistic action. Mileage varies a lot though. There will be others with experiences completely opposite of mine.
