It can definately, and interfere with the normal circadian rhythm cycle. If one can possibly push through a day (which I have difficulty) without napping then it would reset your clock.


I know the feeling of waking up sometimes and feeling depressed -- for me, since depression is secondary to my anxiety disorder and sleep actually helps at least 50% of the time for it, returning to the land of the living as it were is depressing, since it returns me back to what I suffer from.
