i've heard that those underweight have a higher chance of gaining weight than others.
also, i don't know all the medical terms but from what i understand it effect the part of your brain that tells you you're hungry and your body thinks it's hungry most of the time, many times craving carbs (high energy, quick fill but fattening and empty calories).
if you feel you are starting to gain weight. 1)drink lots of water 2)keep up healthy excersize and 3) watch you high carb intake (expecially at night).for me, the first time i was on it i didn't gain any weight. the second time i was on it i was way underweight and i gained about 50lbs. but i don't know what would have become of me if i hadn't gone on it.
so even though the weight s@cks big time, it worked for me.best wishes.
