Sorry to here you are feeling bad again. I was off Nardil for several months and my major atypical depression returned. I am now back on 90mg of Nardil with my standby 1mg of clonazepam. If the major depression is not gone after six weeks, I am thinking of augmentation with Lamictal.I have not used Carbamazepine put the literature seems to indicate more use in bipolar disorder. What are your exact symptoms? I know that you mentioned what sounded like medication induced hypomania at one point on Nardil. This has happened to me at least twice on Nardil and leads me to believe my atypical depression is somewhere on the bipolar spectrum. Even though hypomania, without the influence of medication, has never happened with me. Because of my medication induced hypomania, I am thinking of augmenting the Nardil with Lamictal. I can't remember if you tried this.
Good Luck and Get Well,
