I don't have any references on this,
but i think it's well known that
androgen, corticosteroids, estrogens,
and other primary hormones are very
important in moods.As you get older, a decline in these
hormones may effect some people. For
example women may get depressed after
menopause, and similarly men (declining
in androgen).Unfortunately, it takes an old-fashioned
psychiatrist to consider these, as
brain hormones and MRIs are au courrant.I would go to an endocrinologist - they
are the creme de la creme in medicine.Squiggles
