I take both of these medications at present. I use the Wellbutrin primarily to fight off side effects of Cymbalta, and the Ativan for the anxiety that surfaced after I started Wellbutrin.

It's a strange process trying to find the right combo.

I started with Ritalin after an initial diagnosis of ADHD and dysthymia.

The Ritalin helped at work, but my moods were all over the place, with lots of anger on the back end of the dose.

So, MDD was added to the diagnosis and Cymbalta was added to the med list, and I felt great until the sexual side effects hit.

Then, we added Wellbutrin to counter the Cymbalta side effects. But, I started to have anxiety problems.

So, the doc added Ativan.

The Ativan makes it harder to concentrate at work.

Isn't this where we came in?
