That's the Partnership for Prescription Assistance. You may have heard that some individual companies have programs to assist those who cannot afford the medications they need -- this is somewhat of a clearinghouse of those programs. Here's their mission statement from their website:
"Our mission is to increase awareness of patient assistance programs and boost enrollment of those who are eligible. The Partnership for Prescription Assistance offers a single point of access to more than 475 public and private patient assistance programs, including more than 150 programs offered by pharmaceutical companies."
Not sure you can trust them? A little more from their website may mean something, may not:
"Among the organizations collaborating on this program are the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Autoimmune Related Diseases Association, the Lupus Foundation of America, the NAACP, the National Alliance for Hispanic Health and the National Medical Association."
I haven't used it, so I can't say anything about it good or bad. But if you can't afford your meds, you might want to check them out.
