I was started on Neurontin about 8 years ago or so to help give the Marplan I was taking at the time a boost. It worked and almost caused a euphoric feeling. I am not on Marplan anymore due to weight gain but am still on Neurontin, why I don't know (lol) The euphoric feeling didn't last and now I really don't feel much of anything from it. But when I try to stop it I become depressed so I guess it is still doing something in there. I used to take massive doses of the stuff (about 2400 mg daily) but now take only about 200mg a day. The good thing is I don't believe it is doing me any harm.
