Trileptal and Libido

I'm diagnosed BPII and recently started taking Trileptal 300 mg 2 times daily and am expected to titrate up to 600 mg 2 times daily. Right off the bat, I noticed my ability to concentrate went way down and I felt very tired and sluggish. But most distressing of all, I felt my sex drive drop to zero. Is this expected and, if so, do these side effects diminish with time?
