It's long acting, isn't it? Couldn't you try to take a little less?
(Unless you want to take your pain all in one hit.)
Have you tried cutting the dose in half by taking 1 cap at night (so you can sleep)?
I did that (but not with Tranxene) and was back to normal in 3 weeks.
