Hence why I only trust benzos. And I still say open the capsule pour some out if you decide you still want to try it. Personally it did nothing for me at all. I'm recently been told by a therapist that unless you are suicidal or bipolar or schizophrenic or something other than anxiety and depression if you work really hard you can beat it. The valium if it relaxes you will help you work with a good therapist. I would inform my doc if you decide not to take it. As it is your choice no one can make you take anything you don't want to. Just what I would do. Love Phillipa
