Hyper or Hypomanic on Abilify?

I find it interesting that docs perscribe Abilify for BPI mania, but I am more considered BP II.
I just started taking Abilify and am hyper! Which is great in one sense, but difficult in another.

I am on only 2mg. I skipped my dose last night (I read that it has a long half life of like 75 hours). I still slept great without it, but am hyper again today.

The nurse said to try some benedryl to come down.

Does anyone have experience with this hyperness going away in time?

Also - to chill out I took some Klonopin. Anyone take this combo? Or a Abilify/Xanax combo?
