gg thought you were on vacation? Well no conflict of interest. He just wants simple patients nothing is used by him but SSRI's and SSNRI's and he does used atypical antipsychotics I read it in his book.Anyway the endocrinologist called me today with the results. Even on the lowered dose I'd taken for 3 weeks TSH and other thyroid were still too low. So he said to take the lower dose the GP had prescribed those weeks ago after I practically begged him to do a thyroid panel 3 days a week and ordered an even lower dose for 4 days a week. Then in I think not sure we need to call back and check 6 weeks more bloodwork. I didn't know the TSH came from the pituitary he taught me that and my cortisol level was okay. It's wierd though as when my TSH was high I lost weight had energy and anxiety was obvious now that I'm considered hyperthyroid I'm gaining, no energy only want to sleep, horrible mood swings I get angry then I'm sorry. I did call my pdoc I'm using when I got home and will continue to see her as she had that woman with messed up thyroid that nothing worked til fixed. What makes me mad is all these years all the docs that did the bloodwork said as long as my thyroid was in the normal range it didn't matter if I ate my breakfast which has yougurt calcium binds with thyroid. So I wonder how long I've really needed a lower dose. It would be wonderful to not need any anymore. The endo said I'd end up lower than this in the end. And the old pdoc said wait on meds til stable. Oh well. Love Phillipa thanks for taking the time you're all great.
