My comments/questions on this post...

Prednisone, a very common drug used to treat inflammation, i.e. asthma, lupus, crohn's, etc, can cause a sense of euphoria in those treated with it. A common symptom upon discontinuation from it can be depression. Because of this, it can be very difficult to reduce the dosage

You should only be on Prednisone for short periods of time since it greatly reduces the immune system's ability to fight infection, making you suseptible to acquiring infection, due to leukopenia(low white cell count).

Jimmy Boy...I'm interested in finding out what treatment was recommended to you after specific deficiencies and abnormalities were identified by their sophisticated testing.

Also, the post regarding cellulitis of the ankles and/or legs came up in another post and had me thinking about side effects from medications, specifcally combining as more an more people are combining numerous variety of medications. That would be the first thing to think of when you have edema in your legs, hands or feet. It is never normal and can be a serious side effect of medication. It can also be an early sign of kidney and/or heart failure and should be evaluated by an MD ASAP.
