Side effects will vary from person to person. You may feel sedated or you may feel somewhat stimulated. In my long history with prozac and zyprexa I felt they counteracted each other's side effects pretty well. They did seem to have a unique effect when combined that was like 1 + 1 = 3, more than the sum of the parts combined.
Sleep was good. Appetite increased. Weight gain is common. Mine levelled off at about 3 months and then slowly dropped after that. Sexual side effects were moderate.
I prefer the individual ingredients rather than a combination pill so you can juggle individual doses.
If it is going to work there should be signifcant benefits within 2 weeks but definitely within 6 weeks. If not, I personally would not stick it out any longer. The problem then is that, say for example you wanted to try a big-guns maoi like nardil, prozac's washout period is a month.
Mileage varies. Statistics on symbyax look impressive. That is in your favor. I am wishing you blessings and excellent gas mileage.
