It sounds as though you'd be better off on an SSRI then Trish if you could tolerate them. Have you tried taking a urinary anaesthetic like Kava with the SSRI to help numb the cystitis pain?
Also I've found fish oil to be quite an effective mood stabilizer and I'm bipolar.
