It does work and it worked very well for me in the short to medium term. Whether you wish to take it long term is up to you but you might find withdrawal difficult at that stage. My experience was that it worked brilliantly to start off with but faded a bit after about a year I think, and I had to increase the dose from 2.5 mg to 5 mg. But you are looking for a short term solution I think and I think it will deliver impressive results. You can start thinking about long term strategy when you are feeling better.
I am sorry if my tales of withdrawal difficulty have caused you concern. I should have been more careful. I should also have been more careful when I continued the Zyprexa past the point that it was helping me. If I had discontinued it at that point I would not be in the predicament that I find myself in now. (withdrawal difficulties)
I think Zyprexa will be very useful to you but I would not hang on to it past the point where it is no longer 50% effective.
