Geodon and muscle twitching

Is it common to get muscloe spasms on Geodon? It just started today. I'm in about week 2 of Geodon at 40mg. It's kind of freaking me out. Is this typical? Does it go away or get worse? I was already reluctant to try this med in the first place. I don't want to be stuck with side effects that don't go away.
