Have you tried taking an antihistamine to see if that reduces the mucous and chest tightness? If it is an allergic reaction then it seems likely you'll need to stop it, especially when your IgE marker is so high. It can't be too healthy. What does your doctor think about it?

I couldn't find anything about tianeptine causing those side effects - there are some studies showing that it is actually beneficial in asthma so you would think it would be helping your breathing if anything.

I found some interesting info on the effect of inflammation and abnormal immune response on depression. Might be worth bearing in mind if tianeptine is causing an abnormal immune response. Cutting nose off to spite face and all that.

It seems the drug infliximab may be effective for treating depression in people who have this problem.
