Focalin vs Ritalin?

Posted by blueberry1 on January 17, 2007, at 4:57:20

I am going to the pdoc at 3pm eastern time. Stimulants are high on my list. I've tried ritalin. I'm wondering what the diff is between focalin and ritalin. I understand focalin is the pure isomer of ritalin, but what does that mean in terms of therapeutic effect? Is it more powerful in a lesser dose? Does it feel just the same as ritalin? Different? Does it work more on the mind and less on the body than ritalin? Or what? I'm wondering what the advantage is. What the differences are in how they feel.

I really want to try adderall, but focalin will be discussed.

Thanks!
