I would agree with the above that there could be other organic issues besides anxiety, such as vertigo. I would have an ENT look at you, if your insurance allows that. Also breakthrough anxiety by itself, activating the autonomic nervous system, could cause unpredictable things like dizzyness. There will always be arguments as to how long it takes to get off a particular benzodiazepine, and we needn't get into the Ashton debate here because I don't think its productive -- I think a physical or an appointment with an ear specialist (ENT) would be of possible benefit to rule out things.-- Jay
